Mad River Mountain
Mad River Mountain is Ohio’s largest ski resort. Located in Zanesfield, Ohio, this resort is only a short drive from Columbus or Dayton. Mad River has 144 acres of skiing and a vertical drop of 300 feet. There is six chair and six surface lifts that access 24 slopes and trails, including two terrain parks. Alpine Valley
Alpine Valley, located in Chesterfield, gets more natural snowfall than any other ski resort in Ohio, receiving 120 inches of snowfall per year. It is also the only Ohio resort with wooded trails. With 72 acres of skiing, a vertical drop of 203 feet, and 11 trails, Alpine Valley is a great location for Ohio skiers. Boston Mills and Brandywine
Boston Mills resort is located in Brecksville, Ohio along with its sister resort, Brandywine. Collectively, they offer 19 runs on 79 skiable acres. The resorts have a lift capacity of 20,000 people per hour and the lifts are synchronized to control the number of skiers on the mountain. Snow Trails
Snow Trails is the oldest ski area in Ohio. Located near Mansfield, this resort is tied with Mad River Mountain for having the largest vertical drop in the state at 300 feet.
