Get ready for the Dublin Market’s second annual Thanksgiving Market! On Saturday, November 23rd, from 9am-12pm, come down to Bridge Park and pick out everything you need for the upcoming season, from fresh produce, to holiday sweets. Vendors are hand picked to bring you a spread of different products, produce and more. So be sure to check it out, admission is free!
Columbus’ Center of Science and Industry is the perfect place for you and your family to fall in love with science, and Family Friday Night makes it easier than ever! On the last Friday of every month, after 5pm COSI offers extended hours and reduced prices to families, so they can learn and play late. COSI has so much to offer, you’ll want to mark it down on your calendars every month. There are stellar shows in the Planetarium, a Giant Screen Theater, and more. It’s the perfect way to have fun with the whole family.
Wildlights is a must see for anyone close to the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium. What started as a few strands of lights and some cookies has expanded exponentially to a holiday tradition, featuring millions of LED lights, animated light shows, Santa and more. Running from November 15th to January 5th, there are so many events and shows, just be sure to pick the ones you want to go to! From fun food drives, to concerts and performances, Wildlights is a must see.
Santa and Horse Drawn Carriage Rides
You know the song: Dashing through the snow, in a two horse open wheeled sleigh… Okay, it may not be exactly the same, but it’s just as fun! Starting on November 30th, Oakland Nursery is offering horse drawn carriage rides, family activities, and a chance for kids to sip hot chocolate while meeting Santa! Check it out on Saturdays and Sundays all through December, and don’t forget the dog for a complete family photo!
Conservatory Aglow is a special event that runs from November 11th to January 5th at the Franklin Park Conservatory and Botanical Gardens. Bigger and brighter than ever, internationally acclaimed artists bring their exhibits and work to life with the addition of lights, movement and more. Featuring incredible pieces such as Jen Lewin’s The Pool and Dale Chihuly’s Chihuly Nights these interactive, large scale sculptures and exhibitions are sure to take the breath away, and remind you what’s truly special.
